These aligners are worn all day and are replaced with the next set of aligners after being worn for 7 to 15 days. The patient removes them to eat and for proper oral hygiene. Self-ligating Braces (Damon System)<\/b><\/h3>\n

They are a low-friction fixed orthodontic system where the brackets are bonded to the front surface of the teeth and connected by an archwire that moves the teeth into the correct position.\u00a0<\/p>\n

These brackets can be <\/span>metallic<\/b> or ceramic, also called <\/span>aesthetic<\/b>. Ceramic brackets offer the advantage of being much less noticeable since they are a color very similar to the tooth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interceptive Orthodontics and Orthopedics<\/b><\/h3>\n

This is orthodontics performed in children with generally primary or mixed dentition (some baby or temporary teeth and some permanent teeth) with the aim of treating malocclusion early and preventing its prognosis from worsening as the child grows. In most cases, carrying out this first phase of early orthodontics can correct the malocclusion, but if not, once the growth phase is complete, it is usually complemented with a second, much simpler and more specific treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
